The President and CEO is the chief spokesperson of the Acadia Students' Union. They represent the interests of Acadia's students to the University administration, as well as provincial and federal governments. The ASU President oversees all human-resources matters that occur within the ASU including all student and non-student employees of the Union. The President sits on the Board of Governors of Acadia University by default as well as every committee of the ASU. They chair weekly meetings of the ASU Executive Board, the Presidential Affairs Committee and SRC Officials Hiring Committee. The President must hold a minimum of 20 office hours per week during the academic year and can take no more than 3 courses per semester.

The VP Student Affairs is responsible for all communications that are delivered from the ASU to students at large. They are responsible for overseeing the activities of all internal organizations and clubs ratified under the constitution of the ASU. The VP Student Affairs is responsible for organizing committees and hiring the heads of all internal organizations. They must also coordinate any Union involvement that has to do with off-campus housing and relations. The VP Student Affairs must hold a minimum of 15 office hours per week during the academic year and can take no more than 4 courses per semester.

The VP Campus Life acts as the chief liaison between the ASU Executive and the House Councils as well as the Residence Affairs Committee and the Athletics Department. They are responsible for all programming done by the ASU outside of the Axe Lounge including Frosh Week, Homecoming, and Winter Carnival. They also represent the ASU at any external programming conferences that may be held nationally or regionally. The VP Campus Life must hold a minimum of 15 office hours per week during the academic year and can only take 4 courses per semester.

The VP Finance is responsible for all funds of the Union and manages a budget of approximately $2.2 million. They ensure that all accounts including those of internal organizations remain in good order. They must supervise the expenditure of all funds which have been voted by council as well as present an audit report to council at the first meeting of the year. The biggest task of the VP Finance is creating a budget for the year after their term is over. The VP Finance must hold a minimum of 15 office hours per week during the academic year and can take no more than 4 courses per semester.

The VP Academic is responsible to the President and the SRC on academic matters of the University.  They act as a liaison between the ASU and Acadia's VP Academic as well as the Senate.  They act as an ombuds person for student with academic appeals or complaints and also represent the Union to external lobbying groups.  The VP Academic must hold a minimum of 15 office hours per week during the academic year and can take no more than 4 courses per semester.
