About Acadia Rideshare

Acadia Ride Share is made up of Acadia students, faculty and staff who are interested in ride sharing. Whether you need a ride home for break, or are willing to offer up the empty seat in your car to someone who needs a lift, Rideshare is a great way to meet new people and reduce the overall environmental impact of Acadia University.

Who can join? Anybody from the Acadia community, specifically anybody with an @acadiau.ca email address. We're working on trying to expand it to the local community as well, but using emails is the only way to make sure that the people who can see your information are from Acadia.

If you'd like this rideshare site for your own school, the guy who wrote it would totally be into giving you the source code, as long as you've got a nerd who can tweak it to fit your needs. If you're interested, send us an email at rideshare@acadiau.ca.
